sunrise at the Duomo in Milan Italy

I’m going to start this post off with a confession. Milan is the first Italian city I’ve ever visited and when I got off the plane, I was completely underwhelmed. My visions of Tuscan rolling hills, ancient Roman history and beautiful piazzas lining the streets was thrown out the window. Milan just didn’t look like Italy to me. However, once I got out and about, the city really did start to grow on me. I discovered that even though Milan didn’t look like the Italy I had in my mind, it is still Italian in its own, lovely way.

That being said, Milan is a city brimming with history, art, and vibrant culture. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, this 2 day Milan itinerary will guide you through the best Milan has to offer, including luxurious accommodations, delectable dining, and must-see attractions. Here’s how to make the most of your short stay in Milan.
